Kuleshov Effect

The Kuleshov Effect is an film effect that demonstrates how a scene can be interpreted differently based on the context of the scene. In this example, three scenes are presented. In each clip, the first and third scenes are the same. However, each clip has a different second scene. When watching the entire clip, even though two thirds of the clip are exactly the same they are all interpreted very differently.
