Dick's Quest was my first group game in the GIMM program. I was in a team with Richard Goldsberry whom we named the game after, and Travis Szabolcska. We came up with an idea based on our love of old games like Ghosts 'n Goblins.
Like my first game Kingdom's Crown, Dick's Quest was built in Adobe Animate. I did none of the artwork. That was all Richard and Travis. I was in charge of the technical aspects such as getting the back ground to scroll correctly, and determining hit boxes. Richard created the look of our start page, story page, and how to play. Travis created our wolves, main character, and did the animations as well. For this game, I'm very proud of the way that the user takes damage and loses their armor.
